Same house. A whole new floor.

A one-and-a-half-story home becomes a full two-story, with a new main-floor addition built underneath it. We modeled every wall, window and roof plane in 3D before the permit set was drawn, so the owner could see exactly what changes and what stays.

Before / After

Drag to see the addition

Both views come from the same camera in the same 3D model. The left side is the house as we measured it; the right side is the design we drew. Every line you see on the right gets built.

What changes

Up, and out the back

01

A full second floor

The half-story tucked under the old roof becomes a true second floor: full-height walls, new bedrooms and a bath, and real windows on every side.

02

A main-floor addition

A new primary bedroom extends the first floor, sitting on its own new foundation, with the second floor carried out over the top of it.

03

The garage stays

The attached garage and its roof stay as they are. The new work ties into what's there instead of tearing everything down.

04

Modeled before it's built

Measured from the existing house, drawn in 3D, and checked against the code before it goes to the building department. The questions get answered on screen, not halfway through framing.

We'll measure what you have, model what you want, and show you both side by side before anything gets built.
